God heard our prayers, and on us smiled,
We finally have our first grandchild!
Our precious angel, darling boy,
Grandma and Grandpa's pride and joy.
You look just like your Dad, you know,
When he was born, so long ago.
Is that Mom's dimple when you smile?
We'll know in just a little while.
So tiny, perfect, sweet, and new --
Words can't describe our love for you.
Love fills our hearts to overflowing,
As we marvel at how fast you're growing.
You've made our lives much richer, dear,
We're all so very glad you're here!
We thank the Lord for sending you,
And ask His blessings your whole life through.
