I'm The Reason Why

Now is my soul troubled; and what
shall I say? Father, save me from
this hour: but for this cause came
I unto this hour.     John 12:27

For God so loved the world, that
He gave His only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him
should not perish, but have ever-
lasting life.        John 3:16

It was me; I'm the reason why
My Jesus had to die,
That awful day at Calvary.....
It was me; I'm the one to blame,
But Jesus took my shame,
And set this captive free.

That's why I love Him so!
In case you didn't know
Why Jesus had to die.....
I'm the reason why.

And even if I was the only one,
Still Jesus would have gone,
To die up there on Calvary.....
Oh, what love! My heart does thrill,
For He said "whosoever will",
Could be saved, just like me!

That's why we should love Him so!
